Regional Sales Manager – UK

This role is predominantly remote and will require extensive travel across the UK sales region, to our UK headquarters, and internationally.

About the role

Dumarey Green Power is expanding, and is seeking an outstanding individual to spearhead sales and marketing efforts in the UK Region.

Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for market development, lead generation, sales funnel management and ultimately achieving sales quotas for the region. The Regional Sales Manager will identify market trends and marketing opportunities across the region, feeding those back and executing to plan. The individual will also play a key role in regular sales meetings, providing customer feedback as well as market and sales information. The Regional Sales Manager serves as a first point of contact for customers seeking support, and will be trained to provide limited assistance on-site and remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Map the market across the sales region, providing actionable insights
• Segment potential users, identifying areas of focus for product launch
• Identify key marketing opportunities (for example tradeshows and conferences)
• Develop a go-to-market plan for the regional launch of our innovative energy storage system
• Take ownership of materials localisation and translation where appropriate
• Undertake early market development work to introduce a new product into the region
• Build and maintain a sales pipeline for the region
• Own and achieve regional targets for revenue and margin
• Provide customers advice on decarbonisation solutions
• Offer and conduct hands-on product training, as well as support with product setup and installation
• Provide feedback on product performance and applications, as well as market developments
• With the Sales and Marketing Director, develop annual plans and targets for the business

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience with the power rental sector with the region, either as a vendor or supplier
  • Experience with capital sales, and product marketing
  • Technical education in a power, engineering or electrical discipline
  • Significant knowledge of CRM and sales pipeline management
